Snap cap dialysis chambers and oscillatory motion combine in
the MDS-8 Microdialysis System to provide fast, efficient
dialysis of samples as small as 20 µl.

The MDS-8 is extremely simple to use. First, samples are
loaded in the FiltraSep dialysis chambers. The chambers are
then placed in the sample holder located in a chamber full of
buffer. Set the time and oscillation speed and press start.
The samples are moved through the buffer in an oscillatory
motion that results in thorough mixing and increased dialysis
efficiency.

As a replacement for dialysis tubing and cassettes, the
FiltraSep chambers eliminate tying, clamping and the use of
syringes. Samples are loaded and recovered using a pipette.
The low holdup volume of the chambers allows even small
samples to be dialyzed with minimal loss and dilution. Each
chamber has a snap cap on one end and a piece of dialysis
membrane fused to the other. Chambers are available with a
a variety of molecular weight cut offs to meet your needs.
